Provide local communities with clear priorities and management tools. Centralize information and data about the Clinton River Watershed in one location. Model water quality in the Clinton River to better inform planning efforts and subsequent actions. Establish a baseline through modeling to measure future management efforts. Update the 2000 Clinton River RAP and make it more user-friendly.

Creation of the WIMS was funded through a grant received by the Oakland County Drain Commissioner from the Environment Protection Agency. The partners listed on the home page all provided input into the design, content and functionality of the WIMS. Future expansion and functionality of the database is being explored by the Partners.
